The Artist of Jamigam
We are super stoked to have collabed with the one and only Zachary Bennett-Brook aka Saltwater Dreamtime to make our unique Jamigam cover edition.
Zachary is a contemporary artist and Indigenous man of Torres Strait Islander ancestry who is born and raised on Dharawal Country (Wollongong, NSW Australia), who has a love for the Ocean and creating artworks which represent his surroundings and passions.
'Jamigam' translates to “salty water” in the Bandjalangic language, and reveals our connection to the ocean and the sky.'

We are loving our Jamigam Beach Shower. We have taken it away on two winter camping trips so far. The campsite didn’t have showers so it was a luxury being able to have a hot shower rather than having a strip down wash out of a bucket. The 8 litre capacity is more than adequate for two people.
Our teardrop camper got a little muddy on the dirt tracks to the campsite but the pressure from the shower did a great job in washing it off.
Highly recommend this Beach Shower.

This gadget is a gamechanger. Great to have in the trunck of your car and hose you and your gear after ocean activity, especially if you’re 2- 3 hours from facilities. Here in Iceland the wind can get cold, even in summer so to be able to have warm shower available almost at anytime is amazing. I only wish I had known about the showerhead holder before ordering. I love the colorful neoprane sleeve and the sleek design.
I even use it to water the plants on my balcony. It saves me trips back and forth.
I ordered the bigger one and I love that they send spare parts with. Shipping was fast. Only downfall was the shipping cost from Australia to Iceland. It is gruesome.

What's the difference between the PRO shower and other showers?
The difference being that the Pro 10L shower is FDA approved as food grade - which means it’s 100% safe to drink from too.
Our 5L and 8L showers are made from High-quality HDPE plastic (BPA-free) – so they are safe for a shower but not for a sip.
How can I warm the water?
It’s simple! Just fill your shower tank with warm water <50°C (for safety reasons and to protect the unit itself).
The 4mm neoprene cover will then keep it warm for a few hours so you can enjoy a nice and toasty shower post-plunge.
Alternatively, just leave your shower in a nice sunny spot and the black tank will naturally warm up your water.
How long does the water stay warm?
This varies depending on your surroundings, the temperature of the water you filled it with and the climate, so it’s difficult to predict.
With an average day temp of 18°C, a Beach Soul Shower will keep the water warm for a couple of hours.
If it's really cold outside, you'll need to give it some TLC.
By that we mean you should wrap an extra layer around your portable shower to keep it nice and snug (e.g. a towel, blanket etc..)
What size shower should I choose?
We’re happy to help you find the right size shower for your needs, but the best place to start is to ask yourself two things:
1. How will I use it?
2. For how many people?
For individuals, a 5L compact shower should do the trick.
For couples, surfers, campers or larger families you’ll find a 8L everyday shower or a 10L pro shower is perfect.
If you like long lazy showers, we recommend up-sizing!
Do I need to continually pump for the shower to work?
Nope. You only need to pump it 7 to 9 times initially to build pressure (with a few top-up pumps when needed).
In saying that, the number of pumps required will vary depending on the showerhead mode you’ve chosen as they all use the water differently.
Can I shower hands-free?
Sure can! Just flick the switch to facilitate a continuous stream of water - no nozzle hold necessary.

How heavy are the showers when full?
Taking the weight of the portable showers themselves into account and with the understanding that 1L equals approx 1 kg...
- a 5L shower will weigh 6.5 kg
- an 8L shower will weigh just over 10 kg
- a 10L shower will weight approx 12.75kg
